Bujifilm Presets
The Bujifilm preset pack: ripping off Fujifilm.
Just kidding. The main motif behind Bujifilm presets is NOT an attempt to fully emulate Fujifilm film simulations, original film stocks, or any other presets that claim to “make digital look like film.” Bujifilm is purely our own spin on some of our favorite Fuji film simulations and the actual film stocks that those simulations were modeled after.
So really, Bujifilm is more like the emulation of an emulation of an emulation. And that’s fine with us.
Inside the Bujifilm preset pack, you’ll find five lovingly-crafted presets created with the intention of bringing some Fujifilm stylings to your non-Fujifilm camera. These presets won’t be a 1-1 perfect re-creation of Fujifilm’s beloved color science behind their film simulations, and that’s intentional. We wanted Bujifilm to have their own identity outside of Fujifilm’s formidable shadow.
Bujifilm presets will work in Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic.
Let’s take a look at each preset and what they can do for your photos.
Bujifilm Astia
Bujifilm Astia is all about soft, vibrant tones.
Bujifilm Astia is ideal for soft, small moments where brightness and vibrancy wins out over moodiness.
Modeled after traditional Fujifilm Astia, our version leans slightly less green in the highlights.
Bujifilm Chrome
Bujifilm Chrome is all about soft but more muted tones.
Bujifilm Chrome is ideal for everyday shooting, portraits, and street photography.
Modeled after traditional Fujifilm Classic Chrome, our version is slightly more vibrant and slightly more green than the original.
Bujifilm Superia/Superia Lite
The pack includes standard Superia as well as Superia Lite for situations in which standard Superia is simply too strong.
Bujifilm Superia is ideal for contrasty scenes where you want to make a strong distinction between highlights and shadows.
Bujifilm Superia is what it sounds like: our spin on the iconic (and sadly discontinued) Fujifilm Superia film stock. It has rich greens with darkened tones, and features very strong highlights and shadows.
Bujifilm Acros
Bujifilm Acros is your new go-to black and white look. No need to look elsewhere for your monochrome needs. Bujifilm Acros has a strong grain response.
Bujifilm Acros is ideal for one very simple thing: removing all color distractions, allowing your viewer to be drawn right into the action and the moment without the burden of too many colors or bad colors.
Based on traditional Fujifilm Acros, our version is actually pretty close—you won’t find extremely contrasty, crunchy black and white here, nor will you find an extremely flat, gray style. Bujifilm Acros is as close to a classic black and white look as we could get it.

Yep! These have been designed to be used on whatever camera you happen to have. They were specifically tested on Sony, Nikon, and even Fujifilm files in Lightroom Classic. You can even use them on raw/DNG photos that you take on your smartphone!

Oh yeah, baby. In fact, we encourage it. Bujifilm presets are not meant to be a plug and play experience. Depending on your shooting style, lighting, camera, etc., you will almost certainly need to adjust exposure and/or white balance after applying the preset to your image.
Do you want Bujifilm Chrome to be a little more muted in vibrancy like Fujifilm’s Classic Chrome? Go right ahead. You want more greens in the shadows in our Superia? It’s your world, friend. You want even more grain after applying Bujifilm Acros? Go absolutely insane with that slider.
We also encourage using our presets to reverse engineer your colors. Please use them as a way to learn more about Lightroom sliders, colors, tone curves, etc.
